How it works
- Your regulars ring you firstAnyone who already has your number gets you, the same as always. Your phone rings about three times. Pick up and that is the end of it.
- Calls off your Google listing go to the assistantThose are strangers, and a fair few of them are people selling you SEO. They get handled first and you only hear about the real ones.
- If you cannot get to it, an assistant answersIn your business's name. It finds out who is calling and what the job is, and it knows what counts as an emergency because you told it.
- You get a textTheir name, their number, the job, and whether it is urgent. Instead of a voicemail you might hear tomorrow.
Straight about the limits
- It handles calls, not texts. Anyone texting your number still reaches you directly, junk included.
- It does not stop your phone ringing. Sales calls still ring you like they do now. What changes is you never ring one back to find out what they wanted.
- It does not book into a calendar to start with. It takes the details and texts you.
- It will not pretend to be you. It answers as your business and says you will call back.
- One code switches it off. Dial it and everything is exactly as it was, straight away, without calling anyone.
